Blizzard Pics

Well, it’s still snowing as of this posting, and while I haven’t heard any official totals, the folks over at The Weather Channel are calling for 16-24 inches when it’s all said and done.  That of course is just the standard snowfall.  With the wind and drifts and such, it tends to get a bit deeper….  Couple pics after the jump. Global Warming To Dump 8 – 12 Inches Of White Stuff On NYC

Posted by Chad on February 10, 2006

Figures….  The one weekend I actually feel like going out and doing something gay (like getting drunk, dancing, and making a complete and utter fool of myself), Mother Nature decides it’s a good time to start harnessing all that extra carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to send the Northeast a little blizzard.

BY THE TIME THE SNOW ENDS LATE SUNDAY MORNING…ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD AVERAGE 8 TO 12 INCHES…WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. THE HIGHEST TOTALS ARE MOST LIKELY TO OCCUR IN AND NEAR NEW YORK CITY…AND ACROSS WESTERN LONG ISLAND.

Climate change…. Is there anything it can’t do?
